Assessment & Reporting

​Assessment and Reporting are two important elements in learning and teaching at St Elizabeth's.


We use a range of formative and summative monitoring and assessment techniques to measure each child's learning including:

  • ​Work samples
  • Student/teacher consultation
  • Anecdotal observations​


Your child’s pr​​ogress is reported both informally and formally.

​​Report Cards are issued at the end of each semester. These have been designed to meet government regulations. Formal teacher interviews are held twice yearly. 

​​Parent's are welcome to discuss their child’s progress with the class teacher at any stage of the year. We recommend that you make an appointment to ensure teacher availability.
